Why Old Bridge patients drive to Morganville

Old Bridge is our most consistent out-of-town catchment area. Patients from Madison Park, Laurence Harbor, Browntown, Cheesequake, and the Old Bridge town center make the 10 to 15 minute drive south for something the in-town options do not offer: chiropractic, physical therapy, and acupuncture working from one evaluation and one plan. No bouncing between offices, no duplicated paperwork, no contradictory advice.

Old Bridge is a township of just over 65,000 in Middlesex County, and each section has its own character: the beachside communities along Raritan Bay, the postwar family neighborhoods closer to Route 9, the newer developments near Route 18, and the industrial and commuter zones off the Parkway. We see patients from every corner of it.

Why us

Why Old Bridge specifically

Living in Old Bridge tends to create a few patterns we see again and again.

  • Long commutes, bad sits

Old Bridge commuters spend a lot of time in the car heading north on the Parkway or into Jersey City and lower Manhattan. Long drives are notorious for tight hip flexors, a stiff upper back, and cranky lower-back discs.

  • Parkway and Route 9 accidents

Both corridors see plenty of rear-end and stop-and-go collisions. If you have been in one, New Jersey PIP covers chiropractic and PT, and we handle the claim.

  • A different insurance mix

Old Bridge leans more toward the Raritan Bay Medical Center referral network than Monmouth Medical. We are in network with the commercial plans most Old Bridge employers offer.

  • An active senior population

The township's 55-and-up communities are full of active residents managing arthritis, spinal stenosis, and post-surgical recovery, exactly the kind of thing our approach handles well.

Common cases

What we treat most for Old Bridge patients

Disc Issues

Sciatica and disc issues from long drives

Sciatica is unusually common in long-commute households. Hours of sitting, plus stress, plus the steady compression on lower-back discs builds up quietly, until one morning you cannot get out of bed without a sharp pain down the leg. Spinal decompression, adjustments, and targeted PT clear up the vast majority of these without surgery.

Auto Injury

Post-accident rehab

Whiplash, soft-tissue sprains, post-concussive neck pain, and the stubborn low-back pain that lingers after an accident all respond well to our care. We handle PIP billing, coordinate with your attorney if you have one, and document thoroughly so the claim runs smoothly.

Workers' comp injuries

Old Bridge has a big manufacturing and logistics workforce. Back and shoulder injuries from lifting, repetitive motion, or a single incident on the job qualify for workers' compensation, which covers our care. We manage the authorization and the paperwork so you can focus on getting back to work.

Old Bridge Chiropractor, Frequently Asked Questions

How far is the clinic from Old Bridge?

About 10 to 15 minutes depending on the neighborhood. From central Old Bridge, take the Garden State Parkway south to Exit 117A, then east on Route 520. From Laurence Harbor or the Route 35 corridor, Route 516 west connects to Tennent Road and then to our office on 520. A lot of Old Bridge patients find us closer than the chiropractors in their own zip code.

I have an auto injury from a crash on the Parkway or Route 9. Can you help?

Yes. We handle New Jersey PIP and auto-injury billing all the time. Your care usually comes with no out-of-pocket cost because the accident claim covers chiropractic and physical therapy. We coordinate with your adjuster and any attorney, handle the documentation, and keep your primary-care doctor in the loop.

We moved from Middlesex to Monmouth County. Do you still take my plan?

Commercial plans like Horizon BCBSNJ, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare work the same across both counties. If you have a Middlesex-specific Medicaid or managed-care plan, call with your card and we will verify before your first visit. Most plans in the Raritan Bay Medical Center area work with our office.

Can you treat disc problems without surgery?

Most of the time, yes. We use non-surgical spinal decompression, a computer-controlled therapy that takes pressure off the disc, together with adjustments and PT. The research shows conservative care resolves most disc herniations without surgery. If your case needs more, we have a trusted referral network of local orthopedic and pain-management specialists.

What about kids? My son plays lacrosse and his back has been stiff all season.

We treat adolescent athletes regularly, including from Old Bridge and Spotswood programs. Stiffness at that age is usually a mix of fast growth, tight hamstrings, and underdeveloped core control, all of which chiropractic and PT handle without medication. We will assess, treat, and send him home with a short routine his coach and parents can support.

What is the easiest route from Old Bridge?

Most Old Bridge patients take the Parkway south to Exit 117A (Keyport/Aberdeen), then Route 36 east briefly to Route 79 south, then Route 520 east, about fifteen minutes total. From the Browntown and Madison Park end, Route 516 west to Tennent Road and Route 520 is a touch faster. Free parking on site.
